SUN's Marites Palma reported "Filmcass celebrates life, offers thanksgiving"

Filmcass celebrates life, offers thanksgiving on 8 Oct 2017

Marite Palma reported on an unusual quiz on the causes and prevention of cancer conducted by
Dr Mamie Lau, founder and director of Radhealth,  about radiation from indoor radon, mobile phone, and toxic substances in skin care products.

The US FDA had tested hundreds of lipsticks and found toxic metals as impurities.

Some personal care products and cosmetics use harmful chemicals as preservatives. One of them is paraben which may be found in deodorants, toothpastes, shampoos, conditioners, body lotions and makeups.  In a 2004 study published by the Journal of Applied Toxicology, 18 out of 20 malignant breast tumors showed high concentrations of parabens, which are known to mimic estrogen in the body and affect the growth of breast tissue.

Therefore, when you purchase shampoo and skin care products, check the labels to look out for toxic chemicals. Parabens comprise butylparaben, methylparaben, and propylparaben—they can also be listed as Alkyl parahydroxy benzoates.

Note: lipsticks would not show up toxic metals in the labels as they are impurities, not ingredients.
